Interesting but unpredictable, often friendly but sometimes not, beautiful but difficult to train, we must seem to cats to be very ... human.
Cats, however, have their own intelligence. They have very good cat reasons for doing what they do. They purr and pounce, they scratch and play, they sniff and mark their territory. It all makes perfect sense to them, even if it doesn’t always make perfect sense to us.
Once we understand how they think, we can unlock why they do what they do. Then we can build a closer bond, preventing problems before they start and solving any already in play.
